About Sarah
Sarah has always had a passion for standing against injustice and speaking up for others who are mistreated. This paired with her love for school led her to the field of school psychology, where she realized she could practice psychology in an accessible place that always felt like a community to her: school. She has worked in public schools in a variety of settings, has taught graduate students, and most recently has worked in private practice. She is excited to see what this next chapter holds.
Sarah feels compelled to help people understand themselves and all the things that make them unique. In her field, this often involves neurodivergence, and Sarah enjoys providing evaluations and psychoeducation regarding what all that means for a person. She does this work to empower clients and their families. She likes to say that she helps people understand how to love and how to apply grace, with a fresh perspective. She uses a strengths-based approach that affirms.
For fun Sarah likes to read, play with her three children, go on walks, travel, and take pictures.

Sarah received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Southeastern University in 2009. She went on the obtain her Education Specialist degree in School Psychology from the University of Central Florida in 2013. Approach
Sarah is a client-centered, empathetic provider who tries to make the evaluation process as non-threatening as possible. People are often nervous to go through this process and to face the unknown, but she reassures clients that testing does not have to be scary! When counseling, Sarah tends to be a bit eclectic, and utilizes cognitive behavior therapy and play therapy techniques.
