About Michele
Hello, my name is Michele! I am a graduate of Florida State University with my Masters and Bachelors in Social Work. I have experience working with children, adults, and geriatric adults. I am extremely passionate about mental health and forming a collaborative relationship with each client.
As an undergraduate student in social work, I was exposed to different counseling techniques and took several classes where I had to use techniques on myself or my classmates. I quickly became aware of the impact that counseling can have on people, and how it can elicit positive change in their lives. I am fascinated by human behavior, and therefore decided to pursue a clinical masters degree! I believe that counseling is a great way to help people and create a warm and welcoming space in which people will feel comfortable sharing their story.
Outside of work, I can often be found at various music venues and concerts. I also enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors.

Approach
As a social worker, I believe it is important to understand the different factors impacting each clients’ life, looking at individual factors all the way to societal factors. I hope to create a safe space for each client to share their story. I also like to take a collaborative approach with each client, by understanding that as the client, you are the expert in your life.
