About Michele
Hi, I am Michele! I am a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern with New Hope Counseling. I have my Masters and Bachelors degree in Social Work from Florida State University. I have had the opportunity to work with children and adults. I am extremely passionate about mental health and am committed to fostering genuine, collaborative connections with each client that walks through the door.
I strive to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are, without judgment. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, stuck, or you just need someone to talk to, I aim to create a comfortable and supportive environment. I hope to help each client find their voice and feel empowered to create meaningful change in their lives.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in nature, going to concerts, and traveling.
Education
I have a Masters degree in Social Work with a clinical concentration from Florida State University.
I received my Bachelor’s degree from Florida State University as well, with a Social Work and Political Science Double Major.

I take a person-centered approach, meaning that I look at the full picture of what might be impacting your life, whether that is from personal experiences or larger social influences. I also value a collaborative approach to therapy.
I believe that each client is the expert of their life, and I work alongside them to identify goals, build insight, and develop strategies that align with their unique needs and strengths.
